Each term, we have an end-of-term excursion, which is partially funded but the cookie money raised by the students. The students work as a group to count the money, and work out what they want to spend it on. In addition to the end-of-term excursions, we also usually have some other day trips. We’ve had pizza and bowling, been to The Great Wall, had an Indian lunch, visited the TuanJieHu Water Park, and been skiing. Together we have travelled by car, subway, taxi, “Ruby”, Side by Side’s 4-wheel scooter, and bus. We have also been on some shorter field trips, we sent Chinese New Year cards at the post office, and have been to a local park for PE and picnic lunches.
